Joy Berkin is a jewellery designer and maker living and working in East Yorkshire. There

is a focus of bold structure and pattern in her designs. She works in silver, gold, copper, brass and gilding metal, often incorporating precious/ semi-precious stones and fresh water pearls.

 

After doing four years of jewellery design at Hull College, she inherited the tools and stakes from her farther in law, who was a competent silversmith in his own right, adding to her skill set.
